The SolarCV project has been funded in 2015 by the Erasmus+ Programme.
The Kick-off meeting took place on 16th and 17th Febraury 2016 in the City of Merida and Badajoz (Spain). The meeting was organised by the coordinating organisation, the Extremadura Energy Agency (AGENEX). On 17th February partners also visited a Concentrated Solar Power plant near Badajoz (La Florida). La Florida is one with the largest solar fields in Spain. It has been developed and is owned by Renovables SAMCA (SAMCA Group and Sociedad de Promoción y Participación Empresarial Caja Madrid S.A.).
The 2nd meeting will be held in Athens (Greece) on 26th and 27th May by the partner organisation CRES. |

Title: Sector Skills Alliance to cover skill needs through delivery and recognition of EU joint CV in Concentrated Solar Power

Partners involved Extremadura Energy Agency (AGENEX) coordinates a Sector Skill Alliance established among the key representative of the CSP sector of each country, in order to cover the coming labour market needs. The alliance includes energy and VET experts (RENOVETEC and ARRAM from Spain; IDEC-Greece and SINERGIE-Italy), national sectorial associations (PROTEMOSOLAR- Spain; EBHE-Greece and ANEST-Italy), energy agencies (AGENEX-Spain; CRES-Greece and ENEA-Italy), Government representatives (Extremadura Government-Spain, ELOT and EOPPEP from Greece and SARDEGNA Gob.-Italy) in the field of qualification, and 2 EU umbrella institutions (ESTELA and ECQA).

SolarCV tools are designed considering ECVET (European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training) and EQAVET (European Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training) European references, so the resulting products ensure a better understanding and comparability of qualifications across countries. |
